female kpop groups in my cultural radar

hi, today is another blog about kpop being my special interest for years, so every day i read things related to this genre (intentionally or unintentionally).

today i specially read in the guardian a news item called "here come the girls! all female kpop groups conquer britain" by molly raycraft. you can easily find it in the music section and then kpop or just go to the guardian search engine and type kpop :)

basically we are told how the female group blackpink made history in july by headlining a festival in the uk and that if there is certainly no shortage of mockery for this genre, it's clear that it is dominating the world and doesn't seem to want to go away, especially talking about women in the kpop industry.

kpopo has been growing in popularity at an impressive level for some time now, since gangnam style in 2012, however in the uk the popularity of this genre is based on boygroups.

uk has lost many of its british girl groups, somehow the kpop girls have come to fill the void with their catchy songs, dance routines, viral videos on social media and being an inspiration in aesthetics for man people (like me).

without a doubt it attracts people, mostly a female audience, definitely groups like twice, aespa, itzy, g-idle, newans and many more are full of popularity.
