an interesting trip

today i'm going to write about some interesting trip (i haven't had many lol, but never mind).

i haven't had the wonderful opportunity to travel outside of chile, but i have known quite a bit of my country. in my travel highlights i could mention the north of chile, specifically la serena, but i must admit that i love the south much more, so i will focus on the precious south of chile. 

well, this was mainly a family trip, in the time of two weeks we decided to visit the araucanía region (this was improvised because in the first instance we stayed in la unión, los ríos region, but we decided to go to visit other relatives who were staying in lago ranco).

our adventure started in the summer with villarrica, we stayed at a relative's house in the center of the city with my dad, stepmother, sister, grandmother and uncles. we went out the first night and toured the city in a children's train, we visited the main places and it was wonderful. the next day we decided to visit pucón, a commune in chile that is quite close to villarrica. it was impressive, it really is a beautiful place. the story continues with that every day we visited a different nearby commune (or town), like for example licanray, my memorable memory is when we visited the caburga lake, it was really warm and the water height was really low! that same day we visited a natural tourist center called ojos del caburga, basically they are water wells coming from the same lake, but their tone is electric blue. 

 

finally, before returning to santiago, we climbed the villarrica volcano (but it wasn't a tragedy like when i climbed the osorno volcano, but that is another story).
